The equipment is composed of an exchange column and a group of control valves. After the cation and anion exchange resins are installed in the equipment and the water flows through the cation and anion exchange resins, the cation and anion in the water are removed to achieve the purpose of desalting. Then the ineffective resin is regenerated and reduced with industrial HCl and NaOH.

The equipment adopts fixed bed type, downstream water production, and countercurrent regeneration without top pressure. The regenerant cation bed uses HCl, and the anion bed uses NaOH.
